UK: Citizen Polyp Launched!

Citizen Polyp was launched on Thursday 3rd June 2010 in Ealing, London!

The local community of Ealing were invited to meet Citizen Polyp and  'Catch Your Polyp' at  Haven Green at Ealing Broadway, London last week. Citizen Polyp also greeted the Mayor of Ealing, Councillor Rajinder Mann. Members of the public also experienced the 18m long, 2.4 metre high walk through inflatable replica of the human colon – the INFLATABLE COLON.

The INFLATABLE COLON allowed visitors to learn about the various stages of colorectal (bowel) cancer and other diseases of the large intestine.

The interactive and visual nature of the INFLATABLE COLON provides the audience with answers to questions concerning the structure and function of the colon (large bowel) in a fun and informative way.

Our Inflatable Colons continue to travel across Europe in their quest to raise awareness of colorectal cancer amid the general public. During March the Inflatable Colon visited: France, Greece, Holland, Iceland, Latvia, Italy, England and Wales. We are also delighted to announce that the Inflatable Colon continues to be exhibited in UAE and Japan.
