In most European countries fundraising involving the population is not common. In the UK however raising funds
for "Not for Profit" organisations by encouraging members of the public to take part in personal challenges has been very successful. Much money has been raised by this form of fundraising enabling "Not for Profit" organisations to do
great things for patients and their families.

My name is Jacky, I live in France and I help europacolon with its administrative work. On the 1st
July 2007 I took part in the British
10K London Race. This was only the second time that I have ever run 10K (the first time being in October 2007) which at the age of 42 is an achievement for me.
