'Manifesto for life'
My Vote - Influencing Change

europacolon's 'Manifesto for life' is aimed at providing a platform to effect change for all citizens affected by colorectal cancer in Europe.  Colorectal cancer offers the best chance for early screening and prevention and in theory nearly ALL colorectal cancers can be either prevented or cured.  Increased awareness of the disease, introduction of formal colorectal cancer screening and National Cancer Plans in the 27 Member States will impact on the current shocking incidence and mortality rates in Europe.

We believe it is the basic human right of all colorectal cancer patients to expect high quality, evidenced based care and treatment throughout their cancer journey. In addition we believe that all colorectal cancer patients have the right to equal access to these treatments regardless of where they live or their income.

Current services and systems responsible for providing cancer care can often be centred on service providers and not the patient at the centre of care.

With the 2009 EU Parliamentary elections and the formation of a new Commission we all have a real opportunity to influence new and ongoing politicians, policy makers and political groups to enforce change!

VOTE NOW and sign up to our 'Manifesto for life' - join the army of citizens across Europe in preventing deaths from colorectal cancer and improving the quality of life of those affected by the disease!

YOUR VOTE WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
